FAQ

Pricing questions people ask before they buy credits

What is a credit?

A credit is the unit remover.work uses for paid work. Credits are shared across image background removal, video background removal, and subtitle removal.

What stays free?

Image jobs always generate a low-resolution preview with a 1024 px max long edge. Video and subtitle workflows stay free up to 5 seconds; anything longer can be auto-trimmed to 5 seconds and continue free.

When do credits get charged?

Credits are charged only after a task succeeds. Quote screens show the estimated cost first. Failed jobs do not consume credits.

How many credits does an original image export cost?

Image originals bill by pixel band: up to 2 MP = 1 credit, above 2 MP and up to 8 MP = 2 credits, above 8 MP and up to 16 MP = 4 credits, above 16 MP and up to 25 MP = 6 credits.

How are video and subtitle jobs billed?

Paid video and subtitle jobs bill by output resolution and 15-second units, rounded up. The current rates are 480p = 3 credits, 720p = 6 credits, 1080p = 12 credits, and 4K = 36 credits per 15 seconds.
